Golden Hour — Behind the Name

Journal Entry #6

For a long time, I was always focused on what was next; the next goal, the next season, the next version of myself. Somewhere in that forward motion, I realized how easy it is to overlook the moments I was already standing in; the ones that are quietly shaping me..

Golden Hour is my reminder to pause and enjoy the sunset.

There’s something about the rising and setting of the sun that has always felt grounding to me. It marks the beginning and the closing of a day, yet neither moment feels rushed. Everything slows. The sky softens and for a brief time, nothing feels urgent. These are the moments that hold a kind of peace because it’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.

Golden Hour represents gratitude for the days we are given and the journeys we are walking, even when they feel unfinished. It’s a reflection of faith that reminds me that we may endure through long nights, but joy always has a way of meeting us again in the morning. Golden Hour is about recognizing the beauty in transition and trusting that what’s unfolding is purposeful, even when it’s quiet.

This fragrance was created as a reminder to stay present; to honor the work, the waiting, and the growth happening beneath the surface. It’s important to acknowledge how far you’ve come without rushing past the moment you’re in.

Golden Hour is an invitation to be grateful for the light you have today and trust the process unfolding before you.

Remember that joy, like the sun, always rises again.
